Vestas is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Wales. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of wind turbines in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed knowledge of wind turbines to perform daily maintenance and field service tasks
- Work with a team of technicians to ensure service targets are met while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards
- Carry out periodic service inspections and component replacements
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Collaborate with office-based staff and other technicians in the field
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics within a similar industry
- Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work at height and in adverse weather conditions
- Full, clean driving license
- Previous accreditation as an AT/CT under WTSR is advantageous
