Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Valence School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex physical and medical needs to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with complex needs, promoting their independence and enabling them to learn and achieve.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Assist with the delivery of therapies and nursing care, ensuring a high standard of care and support.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting the well-being and dignity of all students.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.A patient and empathetic approach, with a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of students with complex needs.Ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the school.Basic knowledge of special educational needs and disability (SEND) principles and practices.What We OfferAs a Teaching Assistant at Valence School, you will benefit from:
