Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeper to join our care delivery team at The Oakleaf Group. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of resident care and ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in delivering a high standard of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the care home.
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure the needs of residents are met.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the care home, including the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant staff members.
  • Participate in deep cleaning tasks and maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas.
  • Assist with the ordering and management of cleaning supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
