Head of Property Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Land and Property Team as the Head of Property Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the complete management of our property portfolio, ensuring that our assets are optimized and our business objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the specification of and selection process for appointment, retention, and management of property managing agents to ensure the day-to-day delivery of high-quality estate management.
- Develop and implement strategies for the commercial management of our property portfolio, ensuring that we maximize returns and minimize risks.
- Manage the budget for the DfT/HS2 assets, rentals, and expenses, according to existing HS2 financial policies.
- Provide financial reports and forecasts, including monthly income and costs statements, to the Head of Property Services and Land and Property HS2 Finance representative.
- Lead the sales process for HS2 properties not required for the project, according to the DfT/HS2 property disposal policy.
- Ensure that all land and buildings in the HS2 property portfolio comply with Health and Safety regulations, HHSRS standards, and legislation, and that the Company's Health and Safety policies and processes, including CDM, are fully implemented.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in property management, commercial management, and leadership. You will have a proven track record of managing large property portfolios, developing and implementing strategies to optimize asset value, and leading teams to achieve business objectives.
You will have excellent analytical and financial skills, with the ability to set strategy and lead the public-facing communications of the Property Management team. You will also have the ability to engage with affected landowners on sensitive issues and demonstrate empathy and listen to their feedback.
