About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Personal Trainer to join our team as a Disability Support Worker. As a key member of our community and home care service provider, you will work with clients with disabilities and those without, taking a holistic approach to assist them in planning and achieving their health and wellbeing goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial baseline intake, safety, and risk assessments, and design programs and exercise sessions/activities.
  • Provide training, skills, experience, and knowledge to support and coach clients with all abilities.
  • Ensure reliability, punctuality, organization, and high-quality service delivery at all times.
  • Work autonomously with clients in the community or at home within a regulated environment.
Requirements
  • Certificate III and IV in Fitness or a degree in Exercise Science or Human Movement.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Personal Trainer and 2 years as a Disability Support Worker.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Orientation Certificate, National Police Check, Working with Children's Check, First Aid, and CPR.
  • Current driving license, comprehensive car insurance, and access to a reliable car for client transportation.
  • Attend an induction training and ongoing weekly in-person team meetings.
