About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to join our team at H&K Fire Engineering.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering fire sprinkler projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading project initiation and handover meetings with all stakeholders, including sales, design, and quantity surveying teams.
  • Production of project programmes and schedules.
  • Communication with clients throughout the life of a project.
  • Attendance at internal project cost-to-complete meetings.
  • Completion and submission of end-of-project documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals, as-fitted drawings, and certification.
  • Supporting and managing on-site resources to ensure issues are resolved and programme timelines are maintained.
  • Undertaking and recording on-site inspections in accordance with scheduled frequencies.
  • Facilitating on-site toolbox talks.
  • Completion of health and safety-related documentation, including risk assessments, attendance sheets, and other relevant records.
Requirements
  • A working knowledge of BS EN 12845 and LPS1048 schemes.
  • Experience in managing complex, large-budget projects within the construction industry.
  • A valid SMSTS and CSCS card holder.
  • Knowledge of CDM management principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of producing project documentation, including risk assessments, quality plans, project plans, cost sheets, and trackers.
  • Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Commercial acumen, including identifying and maximising project cost savings.
