Job Summary

The post holder is a field service engineer working across our customer install base in the South of England. They are responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of compressors and compressed air equipment. They will ensure their work is carried out safely, effectively, and efficiently while complying with our safe systems of work and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing. The post holder will service, maintain, and repair customer equipment in line with the prescribed service schedules. They will work to prevent unnecessary re-work and will communicate effectively with support staff to ensure work scopes are well defined.
  • Service Team. The post holder will communicate well with all the service team – the support staff, the engineers, and the service manager. Where their experience allows, the post holder will assist with the mentoring of apprentice engineers, imparting their knowledge, monitoring their performance, and feedback pertinent concerns to the service manager. The post holder will ensure customers' problems and technical queries are resolved in a timely and professional manner, maximizing uptime of the equipment that the depot services.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Field-based with requirements to travel into the office regularly.
