About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Associate Director Water Scientist/Hydrologist to join our Water Environment team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and providing technical expertise to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex water environment challenges
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Water Scientist/Hydrologist, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects
  • Excellent technical skills, with proficiency in hydrological software and environmental modeling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Relevant degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, such as geography, physical sciences, or engineering
