The Role

The Senior Financial Planning Specialist reports to the Group Financial Controller and is responsible for continually challenging existing reporting solutions and developing innovative and insightful new reports and analysis.

  • Manage ad hoc data requests, ensuring that data is collected, analyzed, and reported accurately and efficiently.
  • Partner with Heads of Department to provide expert support in the analysis and interpretation of data within their function.
  • Work on ad hoc projects as required, working both as part of a team and independently.
  • Identify risks and develop solutions to enhance the control environment both within the FP&A department and the wider Group.
  • Support in the integration of new reporting software as required.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining complex Excel-based models.
  • Knowledge of VBA and/or SQL is desirable.
  • Experience of developing dashboards in BI tools such as Microsoft PowerBI is desirable.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
