FLT Counterbalance Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our team at Proman Recruitment. As a FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move goods around the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift to move goods around the warehouse
  • Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions
  • Check loads are secure
  • Stack empty pallets
  • Perform daily equipment checks, including recharging the truck's battery (if electric)
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks by hand where necessary

Requirements:

  • Valid license/certificate to operate an FLT COUNTERBALANCE
  • Valid Driving License
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Able to organise and prioritise workload
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
