Underwriting Opportunity in Commercial PI

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our Commercial PI team at Nexus Underwriting. As an Underwriter, you will play a key role in driving business growth and developing strong relationships with brokers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite and price accounts within underwriting parameters and authority levels
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with brokers, insurers, and clients
  • Take ownership of underwriting decisions and accountability for own book of business
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and non-typical risks
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives and goals
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as an underwriter in commercial PI
  • Strong understanding of PI market conditions and underwriting principles
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Pragmatic and commercial underwriting skills
