Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Basildon

Location: Basildon

Salary: £40,000 plus OT

Hours: Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Professional to join a Commercial Office Building site located in a commercial area. The successful candidate will be required to carry out all aspects of multi-skilled maintenance within this commercial office building environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Management and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Our client is a leading provider of property maintenance services in the UK, providing both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to numerous clients across various locations.

Duties:

  1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports.
  2. Be on a call-out rota to provide the client with full out-of-hours cover.
  3. Supervise visiting sub-contractors with regards to the standard of work and Health and Safety.
  4. Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  6. Attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.

Requirements:

  1. Electrical Qualifications – Level 2/3 – NVQ or City & Guilds Equivalent.
  2. A proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
