We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Consultant to join our team at IDEX Consulting. As an Actuarial Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality consultancy services to our clients in the UK Defined Benefit/Final Salary Pension world.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise phases of actuarial valuations and special projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Prepare materials for and attend client meetings, presenting to clients and prospects with confidence.
- Manage the implementation of new services, coordinating and reviewing project assignments to ensure seamless execution.
- Assist in the development and presentation of proposals for consulting services, seeking to grow client relationships and improve service efficiency.
- Consult with other lines of businesses regarding projects and/or expanded client relations, maintaining in-depth knowledge of types of benefits products available in the marketplace.
- Pursue actuarial credentials through continual professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Experience within a similar role in the UK DB Pension space, with a strong understanding of actuarial consulting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
