Civils Site Manager Job Description

Bracken Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Civils Site Manager for one of our clients who are working on a Civils project.

This role would suit someone from a strong Civil Engineering background with a strong previous background on Utilities projects.

The role will include day-to-day site management duties on site where you will have a site team reporting directly to you. The role will involve the management of site activity, programming work and resources, health, safety and environmental planning and monitoring, client and sub-contractor liaison and reporting on project progress to the project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage site activity, programming work and resources
  2. Oversee health, safety and environmental planning and monitoring
  3. Liaise with clients and sub-contractors
  4. Report on project progress to project teams

Requirements:

  1. Strong knowledge of Civil engineering
  2. Experience of Project Delivery
  3. Degree Qualified
  4. Proficient using Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook and Excel
  5. Knowledge of method statements and risk assessments
  6. Valid CSCS Card
  7. Knowledge of Health & Safety Procedures, Management Systems and Quality Assurance Procedures.
  8. AP Appointed Person ticket & Slinger Signaller (Desirable)
