Join Our Team:

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a skilled Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at Dematic. As a key member of our mobile engineering team, you will be responsible for undertaking scheduled repairs, emergency repairs, and occasional scheduled service work for Dematic installed equipment across various customer sites in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and industry standard practices;
  • Undertake emergency repairs in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and industry standard practices;
  • Undertake occasional scheduled service work in accordance with standards set out in relevant manufacturer's equipment manual;
  • Accurately record all work undertaken;
  • Provide 24hr x 7day emergency on-call service as required;
  • Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times;
  • Ensure quality of output at all times;
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times;
  • Ensure correct equipment/tools are carried to undertake the role;
  • Adhere to Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within warehouse automated industry or related engineering environments;
  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) qualification in electrical/electronic discipline;
  • Good understanding of control systems and techniques, especially Siemens S7 along with Distributed Control Systems/Drives and Scanners;
  • LEEA Part 1 desirable;
  • Working knowledge of LOLER regulations;
  • Full UK Driving Licence due to travel requirements of the position.
