Electrical Test Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our team at phs Compliance. As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on electrical equipment within our customers' premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to carry out PAT testing
  • Complete tests on portable appliances within our customers' premises
  • Produce results daily that meet the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies
  • Represent phs Compliance, offering positive customer service and being the face of the company

Requirements:

  • Full UK manual driving license for a minimum of 12 months (subject to insurance requirements)
  • Flexibility to work outside core 9-5 hours and 8 hours on site
  • C&G 2377 qualification preferable but not essential due to full training provided
  • Ability to spend long periods of time completing manual work
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and customers on a daily basis
  • Basic IT, numeracy, literacy skills, and good communication skills
