Get Staffed Online Recruitment is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Expert to join our team in Gloucester and Cirencester. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and VAT compliance. They should possess strong expertise in all elements of bookkeeping, robust grasp of accounting and tax principles, and familiarity with UK tax regulations.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £35,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 20 days holiday in addition to bank holidays. There is also free parking on site.

Job Description
  • To process day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
  • To reconcile ledgers, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
  • To assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing insights into financial performance and cash flow.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification or equivalent.
  • Educated to degree level in finance.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and Microsoft Office Suite.
