Salary

The salary for this position ranges from £44,240 to £56,903 inclusive of London Weighting, with the potential to progress to £63,709 per annum inclusive of London Weighting.

Job Description

This role involves leading the technical operations of the Medical School, which boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including simulated hospital wards, clinical skills training rooms, a large anatomy suite, communication skills training rooms / OSCE rooms, and dedicated team-based learning facilities.

We are seeking an experienced technical expert to manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of high-quality leadership and management, familiarity with a wide range of equipment used in a medical education setting, and experience in managing projects of varying sizes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements, such as health and safety, procurement, and the Human Tissue Act.
  • Experience and knowledge of clinical simulation.
  • An excellent working knowledge of project management software and tools.
  • A commitment to the continued professional development of oneself and others.
