Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs in a primary school setting.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver differentiated lessons and accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing assessments to track student progress and inform future interventions.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 1.
- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support students effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
