Job Title: Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our Older People Services team at CrossReach. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering a range of therapeutic and engaging activities tailored to the needs of our service users, providing both mental and physical stimulation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organise and deliver indoor activities, outings, and one-to-one sessions that align with individual care plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and ensure a seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to our Christian ethos by leading worship and prayer sessions in line with CrossReach policy.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that all activities are safe, enjoyable, and beneficial for our service users.
Requirements:
  • SVQ 3 in Social Care or willingness to achieve.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using relevant software.
  • Christian faith and ability to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos.
  • Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
