Rullion Limited is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrical/Electronic Technician to join a well-established rolling stock company. In this role, you will be a key member of the maintenance team, responsible for the upkeep and servicing of a locomotive fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on overhaul fleet locomotives, coaching stock, and associated equipment.
  • Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in a cost-effective manner.
  • Actively participate in initiatives to enhance the quality of work and processes.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the work area.
  • Be flexible and willing to take on additional duties within the scope of modification work as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of electronic and electrical engineering related to various types of rolling stock.
  • Mechanical experience is also an advantage, as there may be times when you are required to assist in other maintenance duties.
  • Technical proficiency in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Competency in IT skills, including the use of personal computers, office software and diagnostic equipment.
  • Electrical Engineering: Must possess relevant experience in an electrical engineering environment.
  • Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical.
