Resident Involvement Officer
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Resident Involvement Officer to join our dynamic team at the City of Lincoln Council. As a key member of our Resident Involvement Team, you will play a vital role in engaging with and supporting our tenants and leaseholders to contribute their views to service delivery, policy development, and other issues affecting them.
Key Responsibilities:- Actively engage with and support tenants and leaseholders to contribute their views to service delivery and policy development.
- Provide support to existing tenant/resident groups, encourage new groups to form, and facilitate focus groups.
- Support the residents' panel and encourage tenant involvement in scrutiny of services.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective community engagement.
- Work in partnership with relevant stakeholders to inform service planning and delivery.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide a high level of customer care.
- Good communication skills, able to cope with a wide variety of situations.
- Appreciation of local housing issues affecting the council housing sector.
- Excellent analytical, written, and IT skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to support relevant groups.
