Maintenance Lead Engineer (Electrical) Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead Engineer (Electrical) to join our team at GenTech Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering function, you will be responsible for managing a small team of engineers, overseeing maintenance activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage a small engineering function supporting operations
* Fault finding and resolution, preventative and reactive maintenance activities
* Reporting and recording of maintenance and repair details for work activities using the appropriate maintenance management and IT systems
* Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation, reviewing, developing, and improving processes, plant, and machinery to improve efficiency
* Training and developing others in electrical work, new equipment, machinery, and processes, as necessary

**Requirements:**

* Hold a qualification in an electrical discipline e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Minimum of 5 year's relevant electrical engineering experience
* Competent leader/engineer with experience within a service centre or manufacturing environment
* Demonstrable experience of line management, continuous improvement processes, preventative maintenance techniques and dealing with contractors and suppliers
* Ability to work efficiently, effectively, accurately and on own initiative with minimum supervision as well as part of a team within tight timescales
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good rapport at all levels
