We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills. If you can work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and provide exceptional guest service, we want to hear from you.
Your Job Duties May Include:- Interacting with guests in an efficient, hospitable, and professional manner
- Demonstrating full knowledge of bar and menu items
- Assessing guests' needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Following up on guest requests throughout service
- Immediately communicating any food or service issues to management
- Maintaining proper set-up and cleanliness of station and service areas
- Delivering elements of service within established timeframes
- Verifying guests who purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age
- Demonstrating accuracy in transactions and cash-handling skills
We are seeking individuals with strong interpersonal, problem identification, and problem-solving skills, verbal, and written communication skills. You should be willing and motivated to learn new skills, tasks, and software systems to meet the changing demands of the industry. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days and nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow all cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices as mandated by the company and local regulatory agencies. Computer literacy with the ability to learn the Aloha Point of Sale System is required. Accuracy in transactions and cash-handling skills is also essential. A positive attitude and the ability to obtain relevant training certificate and/or licensure are necessary.
Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time, and/or walk often. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Education Required:Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable. A high school diploma is preferred.
