Aircraft Fitter Role Overview
Airbus Broughton, a renowned site for aviation excellence, seeks skilled Aircraft Fitters to join its dynamic team. With a rich history of producing iconic aircraft, you'll play a vital role in assembling wings for commercial planes like the A320 and A350XWB families.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Aircraft Fitter, your duties will include:
  • Assembly and fitting of components
  • Repairing metallic and composite materials
  • Working in confined spaces or at heights

Shift Options:
We offer flexible shifts, including double days (06:00-13:10 and 13:30-20:40) and nights (20:45-06:00), to accommodate your needs.

Requirements:
To be considered, you must have:
  • A completed Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship
  • Previous experience in similar roles, such as Sheet Metal Workers, Metal Fabricators, Welders, or Mechanical Fitters
  • Other accepted qualifications: Indenture, City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC, Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills Level 2, and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognized engineering field
  • Self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Openness to continuous improvement processes and innovative approaches
  • Knowledge and adherence to high Health and Safety standards

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
