Materials Coordinator

Join our team at MET Recruitment UK LTD as a Materials Controller, responsible for scheduling the supply of raw materials and/or packaging to meet production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Scheduling and Planning: Review volume requirements against short-term and long-term customer forecasts, ensuring timely delivery of materials and minimizing production shortages.
- Supplier Management: Liaise with key suppliers to build effective partnerships, ensuring inbound deliveries are met on time and in full.
- Inventory Management: Manage all inventories to agreed stock levels, maintaining a cost-effective approach measured by value of P&L inventory used and held on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Production Support: Work closely with different teams to understand and execute customer requirements, ensuring stock is available to meet production needs and avoiding downtime and customer shortages.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to form and maintain fantastic relations internally and externally.
- Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills and IT literacy, with the ability to provide excellent levels of service to internal and external customers.
