Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out Structural Engineering for GDi and other companies within our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and comply with Company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards.
  • Approval, checking and preparation of design/engineering documentation, including interdisciplinary documents where necessary.
  • Preparation of engineering, construction, and equipment scopes.
  • Monitoring progress of work and achieving completion within the agreed schedule and budget.
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress and cost throughout.
  • Management of 3rd Party Suppliers in the execution of discipline Engineering Delivery, including specification of equipment, materials and subcontract scopes, review of supplier's quotations and/or preparation of technical bid assessments as required.
  • Producing documentation deliverables for inclusion in workpacks.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring for junior members of the team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in Detailed Design Engineering and Engineering Checking/Approval.
  • Competent in use of analytical methods used within discipline, including theoretical background for analysis programs.
  • Competent in planning, progress monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Self-motivated, with the drive and initiative to carry out projects according to plan and the ability to quickly adapt in a fast-changing environment.
