Localization Quality Specialist

This Localization Quality Specialist - AGI-DS Organization position is a critical part of our team, ensuring that our non-English content meets the highest standards of quality. As a Localization Language Manager, you will work closely with data scientists, operations teams, and localization vendors to ensure that our content is accurate, relevant, and effective.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a strong background in localization, who can manage cross-language initiatives and project management. You will be responsible for owning the language quality for Dutch, French, German, or Italian by authoring, reviewing, editing, and scoring localized content. You will also provide guidance on grammar, style, and cultural considerations to internal customers for your language.
The estimated salary for this role is $90,000-$120,000 per year, depending on location. If you have a Bachelor's degree in translation, interpreting, languages, foreign language, international business, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in the localization industry, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Managing localization projects end-to-end, removing roadblocks to ensure they are delivered on time
- Overseeing monthly vendor invoicing to ensure we are within our yearly budget
- Creating and updating localization workflows, translation memory, style guides, and glossaries
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with localization vendors, continuously working to improve quality and efficiency
