About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to join our specialist team in one of only fifteen Sarcoma units in the country. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with the Band 7 Specialist Sarcoma Physiotherapist to provide high-quality care to patients with Sarcoma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert physiotherapy services to patients with Sarcoma, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies for Sarcoma patients.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Person Specification
  • BSc Honours or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • Experience of working in a specialist team and providing care to patients with Sarcoma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Manual therapy skills and evidence of post-graduate training in specialty.
