Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Project Coordinator to join our team at Joseph Gallagher Limited. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of civil engineering projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out detailed works as per contract drawings and conducting regular checks to ensure accuracy
  • Verifying plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy and ensuring quality control requirements are met
  • Providing engineering support to overcome technical problems and conducting pre-start site surveys
  • Ensuring timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects, working closely with the Project Manager and installation teams
  • Operating and promoting a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance
  • Assisting in resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise

Requirements

  • Previous experience working on civils projects
  • Proven track record of setting out on civil engineering projects
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulations
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with site-based teams and clients
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Proven troubleshooting skills
