About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FM Assistant to join our team at SSE. As an FM Assistant, you will play a key role in providing support to our Facilities Managers in the delivery of day-to-day Facilities Management (FM) services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all SSE colleagues and visitors, ensuring a high-quality stakeholder experience.
  • Assist in the delivery of FM services, including front-of-house, reception, and administration duties.
  • Conduct site safety and contractor audits, monitor SEARs, and chase actions for sites.
  • Implement SSE's SHE culture and policy, ensuring safe working practices are maintained.
  • Work collaboratively with the FM Team to achieve set targets and timescales, ensuring statutory compliance and health, safety, and environmental objectives are met.
Requirements
  • IWFM level 3 minimum or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365, and Teams.
  • Ability to identify, interrogate, and resolve problems.
  • Able to work using own initiative and with a large degree of independence.
