Experienced Plasterer Required for Social Housing Maintenance

Howells Solutions Limited is currently seeking a skilled and reliable plasterer to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in social housing properties and will be able to perform various multi-trade tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct plastering and drywall repairs and installations in social housing units.
- Perform a range of multi-trade tasks, including basic carpentry, painting, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Collaborate with a diverse maintenance team to address various property maintenance needs.
- Inspect and assess housing units for maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or training in plastering or a related field.
- Proven experience in plastering and general maintenance, preferably in a social housing or property management setting.
- Ability to perform multi-trade tasks, including basic carpentry, painting, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in plastering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
This is a permanent role, and the successful candidate will be based in West London. The salary for this position is £36,000 + van and fuel card.
