About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Manufacturing Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing various sections of the production line, ensuring smooth machine operation, and maintaining high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily production activities, including setting up and completing changeovers in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report any downtime to the Team Leader/Manager immediately.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on production output and quality control.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the timber industry or similar industrial production environments is desirable but not essential.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety.
- Physical fitness due to heavy lifting requirements.
- Demonstrated hardworking attitude and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate: £11.44 per hour + attendance bonus of 50p per hour (after working standard 40 hours).
- Temporary-to-permanent position for suitable candidates.

- Early finish on Fridays (07:30-11:30) with overtime available.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30-17:00.
- Friday: 07:30-11:30 (overtime available after 11:30).
- Saturday: Available as overtime (07:00-12:00).
