Welding Engineer Specialist

The Graduate Welding Engineer is a key member of our team, responsible for assisting the Welding Engineers in the welding discipline. This role involves working on tender, project execution, and R&D projects, ensuring that all welding activities are carried out in a cost-efficient, effective, and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Fulfilling project welding activities, including monitoring and collating data from R&D materials and welding projects.
- Providing budget-estimates and firm offers for tenders, projects, or internal clients with respect to welding activities and equipment.
- Reviewing technical specifications for tender/contract purposes, determining cost, quality, and cycle time impact.
- Calculating welding cycle times for pipeline installation rate estimates for tender and planning purposes.
- QC and Inspection functions during WPQT, WQ, and Welding Development.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in welding/materials engineering or equivalent level through experience.
- Experience of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Must be willing to undertake offshore survival.
