As a Renewable Energy Engineer at Octopus Energy, you\u0027ll work closely with our team to install low-carbon technology in customers\u0027 homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.

You\u0027ll learn about new technologies and get exciting training in our innovative £10m training centre, giving you the confidence to install the kit, find solutions to challenges, and share low-carbon advice with our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working as part of a team to install low-carbon technology in customers\u0027 homes
  • Learning about new technologies and getting training in our £10m training centre
  • Using your knowledge and experience to deliver an amazing experience for our customers
  • Reviewing and collaborating on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Working with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Leading your team and being responsible for your crew

  • Basic salary £38,000 per year

We\u0027re looking for passionate people who have worked on the installation of heating systems to join us in making the transition to renewables.

Key requirements include:

  • G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification OR proven experience
  • Experience in the installation of boilers and it\u0027s a plus if you know about air source heat pumps
  • Experience as a plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and the ability to fault find
  • Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)

You may also have qualifications such as WRAS Water Supply Regs, Gas safe certification, UHW10/HWSS or the BPEC L3 heat pump installation, but these are not essential.
