Job Overview

As a key member of the Arm Solutions Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing, standardizing, and maintaining internal engineering flows that enable system design activities within the Systems Development team.

You will work closely with Engineering Directors and Technical Leads to build and agree a common set of requirements resulting in a roadmap of design-related flow development.

The flows you will develop will include lint, cdc/rdc, sdc, and advancements in machine-readable specifications to aid automation of best practices within SE, enabling our design community to achieve the best results.

You will collect and analyze design metrics and work with tools from multiple EDA vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain internal engineering flows for system design activities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Directors and Technical Leads to build a common set of requirements.
  • Develop flows that include lint, cdc/rdc, sdc, and machine-readable specifications.
  • Collect and analyze design metrics.
  • Work with tools from multiple EDA vendors.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EDA flows used for SoC hardware development.
  • Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and PHP.
  • Knowledge of machine-readable specifications, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team and people management experience.
'Nice to Have' Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with High-Level Synthesis (HLS).
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards, including ISO 26262.
  • Experience working on global IP and SoC development projects.
