About the Role

Copello Global is seeking an experienced ILS Engineer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our Defence sector team, you will be responsible for managing work packages on behalf of the project delivery team, identifying engineering and support requirements, and liaising with stakeholders to facilitate the development and delivery of key military systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage work packages on behalf of the project delivery team, ensuring efficient support solutions are delivered.
  • Identify engineering and support requirements, and liaise with stakeholders to facilitate the development and delivery of key military systems.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients across the sector, and work autonomously or within engineering and other cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases, URDs, SRDs, and ITEAPs, and have a deep understanding of DEF-STAN 00-600.
  • Manage supply chain relationships, conduct risk analysis, and participate in design change reviews.
  • Work closely with the MOD and global primes to deliver efficient support solutions.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar position within the UK MOD or extensive knowledge of the UK Defence sector, including JSP886/ DLF, ISO9000, ISO26262, and DEF-STAN 00-600.
  • Demonstrable experience of ILS, including ASD and IPS.
  • Previous delivery as a part of an ILS team of efficient support solutions.
  • Fully conversant with supply chain management, risk analysis, and design change reviews.
  • Supply relationship management and stakeholder management throughout the full project delivery lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of UK acquisition frameworks, including business cases, URDs, SRDs, and ITEAPs.
  • Knowledge of operational environments, including geography, climate, media, population, and cyber.
