About the Role

Douglas Steers & Company is looking for a skilled Training and Competence Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our IFAs to achieve their best performance.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out file review checks on pensions, investments, and protection to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Hold regular one-to-one meetings with IFAs to discuss their progress and provide guidance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to equip IFAs with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in their roles.
  • Assess IFA competency to identify areas for improvement and development.
  • Conduct fitness and propriety assessments to ensure IFAs meet the required standards.
  • Review and update policies, risk assessments, and procedures to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Level 4 Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working in an IFA environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
