Ornamental Grower

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Ornamental Grower to join our team in Scotland. As a Commercial Grower, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our new commercial glasshouse, including ground preparation, planting, propagation, growing, pest control, irrigation, and harvest of plants.

To be considered for this role, you should have a strong technical and practical knowledge of crop nutrition, crop protection, and commercial growing with ornamentals. A qualification in Horticulture / Agronomy or a similar discipline is also essential. Previous experience in a similar position and excellent communication skills are also necessary.

The salary for this role is around £45,000 per annum, and the benefits package includes a 35 hour working week (flexitime), superb working conditions (brand new facility), 36.5 days holiday + bank holidays, enhanced pension (25% employer contribution), and opportunities for career progression.
