About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team at Align Property Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining bridges and other transportation infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop bridge and highway projects using industry-standard software packages such as STAAD, MIDAS, and LUSAS.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality projects that meet client expectations.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our projects are innovative and effective.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience.
  • Have experience working on new bridge, modifications, and/or maintenance projects.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW).
  • Experience in the analysis and design software packages, such as STAAD, MIDAS, LUSAS, Autodesk SBD, etc.

  • A competitive salary of up to £47,000 per year dependent on your skills and experience.
