Cygnet Health Care is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Hospital Kitchen Team Member at our hospital in south London. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our patients.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for food preparation and hospitality to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting the Chef in preparing and cooking meals, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking tasks
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment
- Rotate stock and receive deliveries
- Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to company policies
Requirements
- Experience in catering or a related field
- Food hygiene certification and good personal hygiene standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
