Job Title: Senior Credit Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join our team in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable importer of timber and panel products, assisting them in securing a credit controller on an 18-month fixed-term contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience making successful credit decisions and general familiarity with how to record and report financial transactions. They will be responsible for mitigating risks and maximising profits by ensuring credit issued by the company is paid in full and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocation of monies received.
  • Reviewing and releasing orders.
  • Reneewing expired credit limits.
  • Debt chasing (Via phone and email).
  • Resolving invoice/order queries.
  • Month end reconciliation of bank to Bistrack (our sales and stock programme).
  • Month end reconciliation of GBP and EURO sales ledgers.
  • Reporting overdue invoices to insurance company within strict deadlines.
  • Checking customers credit and approving or denying it, based on industry standards.
  • Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions.
  • Setting up repayments and working with Debt Counsellors.
  • Maintaining accurate records.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
