Job Description:

LMAX Group, a leading global financial technology company, is seeking a highly experienced Tax Senior Manager to lead its global tax operations. As the most senior tax professional in the organization, you will be responsible for managing the tax affairs of LMAX Group across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive post-qualification experience in a senior tax role and proven expertise in managing tax affairs of complex multinational organizations. You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex tax issues and provide strategic advice.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external stakeholders. You will also demonstrate leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring tax professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Tax Compliance and Reporting: Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns for all entities within LMAX Group, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws. Manage the global tax reporting process, including quarterly and annual tax provisions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize LMAX Group's tax position across multiple jurisdictions. Advise on the tax implications of business operations, restructurings, and new initiatives. Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations and assess the impact on LMAX Group's operations and strategies.
  • Advisory and Support: Provide tax advice and support to various business units and senior management on a wide range of projects and transactions. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Provide training and updates to finance and business teams on tax matters.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
