About the Role

Modern Networks Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security and IT Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for contributing to the creation of cyber security solutions for our enterprise, mid-size, and small business customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cyber security solutions to protect our customers' networks and systems.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Manage security awareness training programs to educate customers on best practices for cyber security.
  • Collaborate with our CISO to develop and implement cyber security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in our out-of-hours on-call rota as an escalation point for critical security incidents.
Requirements
  • Recognized cyber security qualification (CompTIA, Microsoft, CISCO, ISC2, etc.).
  • Working experience with monitoring systems and an understanding of monitoring best practices.
  • Knowledge of cyber security threats, remediation, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
