Housing Reactivity Management Specialist
Howells Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled Housing Reactivity Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of social housing units in Oldbury, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents by supervising maintenance and repair tasks.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading a team of maintenance technicians and contractors in responding to reactive maintenance requests.
  • Inspecting properties to identify repair and maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinating the allocation of work orders, scheduling repairs, and managing the team's daily activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work, materials used, and costs incurred.
  • Monitoring budgets and costs, making recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
  • Building positive relationships with residents and addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination on housing-related matters.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Providing regular reports and updates to management regarding the status of maintenance operations.
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in social housing or property maintenance, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role. They should also possess strong technical knowledge of building maintenance, repair, and renovation, as well as excellent leadership and team management skills.
