Education Support Professional

Teaching Personnel is working with an independent specialist provision based in Horley to find a compassionate and committed individual to join their education support team. This provision provides an educational journey tailored to the needs of their pupils with SEMH and associated needs.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be caring, resilient, and proactive, with experience or interest in supporting pupils with challenging behaviours. Qualifications are not essential, but a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEMH and associated needs in a specialist provision
  • Work collaboratively with the education support team to provide a tailored educational journey
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Working Arrangements

The provision is set across 2 locations, working with pupils aged 11-18. The working hours are 8:30-16:30, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The hourly rate is £12.90, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
