Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Education Support Assistant to join our team and support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in local schools.

As an Education Support Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students with SEN, aiding their social and academic development through 1:1 and small group sessions. You will also collaborate with teachers, fellow assistants, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to students with SEN in a variety of settings, including classrooms and small group sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Assist with behaviour management and provide a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an educational setting, preferably working with students with SEN.
  • A comprehensive educational and employment background.
  • Availability for a minimum of two days per week.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
