This role directly supports Royal Air Force A400M operations, including missions such as the Kabul Airlift, Covid vaccine delivery, medical evacuation, and standing A400M tasks across the globe.

Working in the Business Operations Office with senior leaders will allow the successful candidate to experience a dynamic environment that is at the sharp end of the Services part of Airbus.

The Head of Operational Excellence and Business Management is looking for talent that can be developed, and the team prioritizes a positive mindset and attitude for this role.

The Supply Chain & Governance Technician reports to the Supply Chain & Governance Coordinator and hierarchically to the Head of Operational Excellence and Business Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Requests for quotes and ensuring sourcing is carried out in line with the appropriate HMG code and buying policy
  • Preparing the Consignment Note and associated documentation
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records of procurement activities
  • Collaborating with the Supply Chain & Governance Coordinator to ensure effective supply chain management
