Job Summary:

Silverlake Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at our care centre in Horsham, West Sussex. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and supporting our care team in providing a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as required.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor progress.
  • Supervise and support care staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Act as a role model, promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and compassion within the care team.

Requirements:

  • 1st Level Nurse qualification and registration with the NMC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Mental Capacity Act and the Care Act.
