Management Accountant

Keeler Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join a city centre based business in Norwich.
This is a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the organisation, with diverse responsibilities including preparing and reviewing budgets, assisting the Finance Director with the management account process, and addressing ad-hoc queries and requests from directors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing annual budgets to ensure alignment with financial goals
- Reviewing and preparing year-end and quarterly accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Managing invoice postings, including reviewing and posting supplier invoices on a bi-monthly basis
- Assisting with audits, external accounts reviews, and HMRC tax returns
- Reviewing monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with the accounting software
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a relevant position, preferably with AAT qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of double entry accounting
- Computer literate, well organised, and a team player with good literacy and numeracy skills
- A 'can do' attitude and a willingness to learn and develop
